Even allowing for 50,000 sub par original applications that leaves a heck of a lot of people who applied. Evidently not many people applied in the Canterbury area compared to the rest of the UK. Yeah you can see how this situation would come about. It must be murder needing to advertise so urgently, almost as though there's been an almighty f**k up.

There are IIRC 3 areas that were struggling for temps earlier Glasgow, parts of the Midlands and Kent area - though I may be wrong. We have posts in the News threads mentioning it.

After the amount of people that I saw turn up on my "interview" day I am very surprised at Canterbury needing more staff! Do you think it has something to do with it closing down? I'm quite happy to never get any post again, it's always bills anyway!
One worry though is the security checks, some form of check should be done......

I've worked here for 4 weeks now, and i've only had one weeks pay, the management are very understanding of the situation, they themselves cannot contact angard. :arrrghhh
So i heard from a source last night, they are trying to recruit more staff just in case people refuse to turn up on friday after undoubtably not being paid for the third week running! Everyday new recruits turn up to work, we have way too many staff now, at lunch there are about 100 people in the canteen! so why they want to recruit anymore is just as an insurance policy if we do strike.
