Spoke to our manager today at mount pleasant about. The pay issues and he assured me that himself and others are going through a list of everyone they have against angards list to ensure no one is missing off the payroll as it goes through on a tuesday so if anyone missing of it they can be added! Am going to check with him tomorrow to see all ok ! So at least something is being done here!

I would suggest get on to your managers soon as possible

We got told this evening to take details tomorrow (tuesday) of hours worked and pay received, then our manages would sort it with Angard to ensure we got what was owed.
Also we got a printed sheet of paper from Angard as an apology pinned up on the noticeboard, but it was just the usual "sorry for the inconvenience....computer error....
new business setting up......most staff paid correctly...." (say something quick, we've been rumbled and were in the papers, the peasants are revolting, where can I hide etc)

Bull***t in other words.

BTW, I don't wish to mention which mail centre I work in for obvious reasons.(see my other posts re. strike if you can't work it out.)

We've tried talking to managers, they make encouraging comments & so called sympathetic ones , but as yet haven't actually done anything constructive, like getting us paid!

I'd say it's certainly up to managers at each individual work place to get this sorted.
The majority of Carlisle staff were paid yesterday, although a lot incorrectly, and this was due to management intervention.

The managers at Ely have been helpful, repeatedly trying to get hold of Angard and then eventually being able to. Angard assured that emergency payouts for the week's pay are being issued. Although I had someone call me to confirm my bank details just now and she said I should be getting my 2 weeks payment on Friday, which seems like a contradiction to me... It was when I told the managers that we would walk if we weren't paid by Friday that they helped us out.

Spoke to a manager today he told me the list currently being cross checked with angard anyone missing of it will be puT. On tomoz if anyone not paid will be issued cheques! I am still trying to get through on the phone ! I sent an email and a reply was automated it said they are currently dealing with payroll queries in date order! So will have a definate confirmation of what is going on tomorrow hopefully

nothing done by our managers to resolve my missing portion of wages, however some who have had no pay at all have had their issues discussed with managers, and a solution seems to be forthcoming, although I am not sure of all details.

My manager is a waste of space, a few people have had problems, the answer everyone gets is contact angard I cant do anything how stupid is that! managers should be helping out as much as possible.
