"We've been planning since last year".............Didn't he really mean 3 weeks ago. In fact he should have said "we had no plan we just pulled people in off the street".

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: ROYAL MAIL'S BUSIEST DAY
There is a slight difference between the following 2 sentences:
Pulling people off in the street is an offence. It would be indecent.
Pulling people in off the street is not an offence, unless it is against their will, when it is.

Yes and what a strange time to make IT changes, resulting in the RM website and services like smartstamp being out of action today

How much worse can it get? A LOT F****** WORSE !!!

Re: ROYAL MAIL'S BUSIEST DAY
The person interviewed from RM appeared a right plonker, says RM have been getting ready all year. Does he not know we have delt with it every xmas for many years...shame his postion in RM did not reflect in him having a great deal of knowledge of the basic running of RM.......
