Bankable hours ie if it's a light day then you owe RM hours but if it's a heavy day then it's the opposite (at least that's what I think it is)

Thing is do we get any light days anymore, beginning and the end of the week are just crazy and you can't do your D2D because you can't fit them into your pouches ( not even the supposed 20%) so that leaves the middle of the week to deliver them with what mail you have got,and still making it heavy.

In our office they can't get walks covered now and until these machines come in how can they justify sending posties elsewhere?

Royal Mail have one idea full stop, did Red Billy ever think they'd change ? , but they are devious to the point of being neurotic and very underhand as everything is to a forgone conclusion . Wake up Hayes !. The Scousers on here don't rate Hayes, enough said!. He's a conman , to be fair he can be good at it sometimes. Also he's due a good pension off the CWU , the justification is his GPO pension wasn't that good. The Compass Group thing is to see him out till he's 60, cut and run . I wouldn't say his hair was dyed but the last time I saw anything of that shade and hue , it was on a Grand National Winner.

Dont like the sound of the flexibility bit in it...not knowing what job you will be doing from day to day!!!! no way...i think they wanna make the job so unberable that we want to leave.. at the end of the day that wud save them money instead of paying us off??

Not much point having a Briefing if Royal Mail won't give release
for Reps to attend,where does that leave us and our Reps in the dark

Any Rep - from Area upwards - is on full-time release! They will go to the briefing! They can stop unit reps attending - but they can't stop Area reps contacting unit reps. If you don't like the way that you are represented - try complaining to your Branch Officers. If that bears no fruit - telephone CWU HQ & complain!

You're not joking mate. He did very well getting the backing of a big branch who knew him in the days when he was a militant. I'll bet they're sorry now. I doubt there will be many regrets when Billy goes the way of John Keggie and takes his bloody party affilliation with him.

Hello Inspector, I think I know you but not sure. I was at a WTLL session which I think you are refering to. Although I am not defending the DOM far from it, but he did NOT say there would be a strike on Thursday - Friday and Saturday. He said " there are a lot of things being said at the moment and used the strike days as an example of what was being said. He went on to say that the 06:15 starts would not likely happen next week, but it was very unclear what is going on. Inspector if I have the wrong person. Sorry.

The offer from Royal Mail is nothing short of a disgrace.
Pensions-They want us to contribute over Â£5 per week and retire 5 years later
Flexibility-They want complete flexibility and be able to change shift times giving only 24 hours notice.
There is much more i will have the document tomorrow and if no-one posts it up i will do it as soon as i get it.
There is no doubt we need to respond and respond hard strike next week for 2 days then go back to our rotating strikes we have 20 yorks rolling already that could treble in 2 weeks!!
This does tell everyone including strike breakers what the employer thinks of its employees they are a bunch of w*****s and i f***ing hate the bastards.

Perhaps I was being harsh to my DIMDOM - he was only repeating a rumour & I got it 2nd hand - from a postie - whose name begins with B & who delivers to my gaff!. Do you want to P.M. me? I must say that you sound - too intelligent to be 'one of mine' - nearly all of mine - have grazed knuckles & are all related to one & other!!! Still you're a floater - so yr on the same shift pattern as us - & scum does float - so they say.............................
