Re: Angard pay rates:Pay office email address
should be friday thats what i was told today. my pay rates say its 7.84 an hour so if i find out they have paid me 6.58 an hour i wont be best pleased, surely they shouldnt be alloud to change it if they have offered u a job with that amount. if it is the case that it is 6.58 an hour then why did anyone bother doing the night shift may as well done any other shift for 4 pound a day less21CP wrote:what day SHOULD they pay us? as im hoping to get paid next friday from them

Re: Angard pay rates:Pay office email address
Your in for a disappointment then...its £6.58 The rate you were quoted (and I trust you have it in writing
) was the OLD RM Casual rate for nights, thats what alot of us were earning pre Angard and I won't work nights now but have found some hours on lates between 5 and 10 enough. I stopped when I realised that my can of Red Bull at 3.30 in the morning was costing me 3 hours shift allowance

Think these pay rates are for Regular Casual outside Christmas period. They are not necessarily the Christmas pay rates - to get them follow Britvic55's method on the first page.POSTMAN wrote:Angardpayroll.queries@reedglobal.com

Verging on the rediculous
This will fan the flames even further!! Why should I have worked shifts on a lower rate? When did "Christmas" start then?

I WAS at Truro MC. NB past tense! Please see the next post that I put up! We usually get the lowest rates, because it is the lowest paid county in the country!

Re: Angard pay rates:Pay office email address
They have different rates for different mail centres. You will need to check what yours should be to make sure you are getting the correct pay - follow Brtivic55's method on the first page.
Some of our Christmas casuals were given 6.08 some 6.35. Having said that I think more than 20 have not been paid so do not know what their rate is. Same story with long term casuals who were told they would be on Christmas rates - some got 6.08 some got 6.35.

Re: Angard pay rates:Pay office email address
ive been told by angard that the pay rate is regional so it depends on where you live to how much you get paid.

Re: Angard pay rates:Pay office email address
You'd think there'd be some clarification from Angard wouldn't you? I really get the feeling that the left hand has no idea what the right is doing and they're running around like a bunch of headless chickens (which they will be if I ever meet them personally
).
The whole thing from the initial website application, through the interview process to payment of wages has been a perfect demonstration of utter incompetence. I really hope they find themselves unable to recruit next year and in the meantime I think we should all push for compensation and a personal written apology from whoever came up with the Angard proposal. It is nothing more than a tax dodge to avoid corporation tax and a method to skirt employment laws and employee rights in this country.
They really should be reported to HMRC.

Re: Angard pay rates:Pay office email address
I sent an e-mail a while back asking about pay rates. My brother got a call from Angard the other day, apparently they told him I should be getting 6.08 per hour, which is bloody ridiculous since I did night shifts (Monday-Friday) and it specifically said £6.58 on the application page. If I get paid 6 quid an hour for nights, I'd hate to think what I would be paid if I did morning/afternoon shifts. Hopefully getting a payslip soon will clear the mess up.
