BBC1 That's Britain now

Post by Postman Plodd »

Sorry if its in the wrong forum. On tonights show Ade Edmonson tracks a letter across the UK. Could be tragicomic.

Might've already been on and i missed it. Anyone see it?

We’ve teamed up with the BBC for a short film on the ‘journey of a letter’ to show the logistically complicated but highly efficient job we do every day to ensure mail reaches its delivery point on time.

They posted a letter in Redhill, Surrey and followed it all the way to a remote scottish Island, took 21 hours in total, they also posted 10 other letters in 10 seperate boxes and all of them arrived at their destination the next day.

Just watched the opening 30 seconds of the programme, just seems like a load of middle class whinging. Bet they were rubbing their hands about digging into RM.

What a depressing load of shite that programme is!.Petrol prices, hospital parking charges, lazy students all in the first 30 seconds, "Text what's bugging you". Only in Britain would a programme that is just whining about insignificant shite be gifted a primetime slot.
