POLICE are appealing for information following a raid at Luxulyan Post Office.
An undisclosed sum was stolen during the early hours of Wednesday, November 30.
The suspects made off in a black Volkswagen Golf, thought to be stolen, which was spotted by a police vehicle near Liskeard just before 5am but failed to stop when instructed.
A short time later it was involved in a collision with a white Ford Transit at the junction of Castle Street and Higher Lux Street in Liskeard.
No one was injured in the collision and three men, dressed in dark clothing, made off from the Golf.
Police are appealing for witnesses to both the burglary and the collision.
A 25-year-old man from Newquay and a 26-year-old man from Liverpool were arrested and bailed until February 27. A third man has not yet been traced.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting log number 63 of November 30.
Post Office spokesman Mike Norman said attacks on post offices harmed their communities and urged witnesses to come forward.
