Not bad

Had my return to work interview after a week off sick, finished delivery for 10.30am had a afternoon nap, watched shaun the sheep on CBBC, got the kids to bed and ranted and raved on the forums about the labour party.

Day off wednesday

Summer hols on saturday for a week

Have lost my voice due to Laryngitis so whispering to people at work

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

What a mare!!!

Post by POSTMAN »

But then again.......

Had loads of stuff down today plus a council news paper again, seems it's gonna be monthly.
Then 2 yorks of s**t came in bout 8 ish.
Then we had the 'what would you vote in the pay deal' meeting plus other propaganda s**t that lasted a while.
Then in a strange way maybe because of whats happening next week (we're on the vans) every thing slowed down.

My 1st letter was 10-30 cut off just after 1-30 left bout 7 bundles.

But interestingly i can see why the Burslem guys(Where are they?) have such high morale.
Just chillin, doing your work at a steady pace,no racing and chasing worring about making others late makes the job soooo much better, late finish or not.
A lesson to be learnt i think.
