I started yesterday and there was no problem I did a full 6 hour shift. Got in this morning to be told I now don't have a job and I have to leave the premises straight away this was at 7:30. So I worked a full day so I should be paid for it as well as the £47 for the bus pass I got to get to work. I've tried calling but NO ONE IS PICKING UP THE PHONE. :arrrghhh
Because I have not been background checked I now do not have a job!

O.K. All of you who have been messed about by Angard do the following:

E-mail your Member of Parliament (e-mail address at http://www.theyworkforyou.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and ask him to present a question to the The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, (the
present incumbent is Vince Cable) requesting him to furnish details as to how many persons have NOT received security pass and/or contract for temp work over the Christmas period
and what damages can be recovered by the person against Angard.

My security checks were passed about 5 weeks ago... i rang them and (got through eventually) the woman said that they had a backlog of people, because of so many people that have applied. She said i should get an email within the next 2 weeks and to keep checking my mail. I still heard nothing and rang them again, had a go about how ridiculous this was and that as far as im aware i was to start work the following monday, which was what was writtn on my provisional letter. she said again to keep check on my emails for another week and if i have not heard anything still, then to asume that i havent got a place. I was supposed to start on the 6th of dec. If i were you i would ring them and get on there case, my experience is that angard are useless

Anguard Payments Telephone Number.

Post by ihaveissues »

This company Anguard will be in the news in tremendous detail very soon, mark my works. They not only cause confusion to Royal mail managers etc, trying to smoothly run their operations and departments, but also the sheer lack of information or Liasons with Us, the temps. No one in our department has been paid also. Anyway, the Payment Office is in Poole, Dorset, 128 High Street ¦ Poole ¦ Dorset ¦ BH15 1DF, Contracts Payroll Tel: 01202 688502, angardstaff.temp99@reedglobal.com, One of the most frustrating things is that it is almost impossible to contact anyone from Anguard at their place of work. Even post office head managers cannot connect with them. This needs looking into by a Professional Body or Organisation, surely someone reading this Forum knows such people otherwise it will get out of hand.

That Poole address is a standard branch of Reed as far as I am aware ..don't see how they could handle much admin unless it's only for Bournemouth {BH} and Dorset {DT} Centres

Royal Mail have the management/mismanagement being done by REED Specialist Recruitment. REED have given different parts of responsibility for the work to their own offices - Poole is just one of the Payroll places, Andover is another (the telephone number for Andover REED is now no longer obtainable - guess they have changed them so we cannot contact them).

Keep searching for REED jobs in these locations - they cannot run REED without publishing telephone number.
