provisional offer 31/10/11...start 5th dec 10pm, 20+ e-mails, mobile bill as long as nick cleggs tongue,£5 for 2 passport pictures, 5 hours waiting for interview, £12 travel expenses..........to be told on phone this morning do not attend without security clearance, funny that been ringing for weeks and only time someone answers is today, explained my situation and the dick on the other end did'nt even ask my name, yes he's not bothered he's got his christmas dinner paid for. please santa can i have just 1 present.....my private and confidental infomation that i've handed over to these bunch of idiots back before they get left in some waste bin for someone to come along and ruin my credit score clean out what pennies i have left in bank or even take my driving test for me............YES MERRY :ncfo CHRISTMAS ANGARD.

luckily ive been working now from 14th nov (angard xmass casual) but my heart goes out to all you guy's that are unfortunatly being pissed arround by that lot.

listen m8, i have no idea why angard started me erlier than anyone else,, i was suposed to start on the 2nd november but got turned away as my name wasnt on the list ( why dont you take a look at my earlier post's).
i then got a call and eamil 1 week later to start on the 14th nov,, i assume i was just lucky,, and dont forget,, offices/outhouses are starting casuals at different times and dates <<< not my fault.
but i still hope yhe luck changes for all of you.

No need to be arsey to people who've managed to start work 21CP! If you didn't intend to be fair enough but it came across that way! Those of us who have been fortunate to get a confirmed start date aren't bragging, we got messed around beforehand too and may still get messed around we're just crossing our fingers for the rest of you.

i do understand his anger,, but that anger should be directed at ANGARD STAFFING, No one else.

Angard took over the casuals in late Sept,some of those casuals i guess got xmas work.

Postmans right there were a number of Casuals on the books pre September and were taken over on an Angard contract. RM always has casuals for busy periods, work might not be on an every night basis like Christmas but it keeps (kept!! ) you in beer tokens.
To be honest it was a struggle to get any sense out of Angard regarding Christmas for those already on the books, but I just asked my Manager when he wanted me in and turned up! Been doing lates for 3 weeks and my names been on an Angard timesheet and I have been paid (incorrectly) so keeping my head down and hoping it lasts.

Lucky me after weeks waiting for for the promised shift 2 till 10 i have finally been called today 4pm telling me i can start tue at 6am. Shame to say wont be able to make these shifts so no beer vouchers for xmaswally.Bit fed up with whole experience having worked as a xmas casual for 3 weeks last year never missing a shift and was always on time this despite the apalling weather conditions and a 12mile car journey each way .Still good luck to everyone who has got the shifts they wanted .Cheers xmaswally
