Induction Day tomorrow

Post by munday12 »

What will happen at my induction day which is tomorrow. My shift is 5pm - 10pm on weekdays at Greenford Mail Centre ?
I've never done this type of work, especially practical work, how hard isit for a newbie ? ... apart from the sorting letters.

Do i get breaks with my shift ?

Seriously doubt you'll be sorting letters. You might be doing inward packets (Greenford means SL/UB/HA/NW) or pushing stuff round the site. Induction will feature no doubt someone walking you round site telling you nothing understandable without background info of how RM works in a voice that can't be heard stood next to them.

You should get a break. Not sure how long it is for temps for a 5 hour shift, but probably one break of 20 or 30 minutes.
