Amy Jones, a writer at The Sun, tested the best way of sending a parcel this Christmas using some of the UK’s biggest delivery services including Royal Mail, TNT, UK Mail and DHL.
She posted a box with mince pies, a Sun mug and a copy of the paper from her London office to The Scottish Sun in Glasgow.
First place
We topped the Christmas delivery tree with the fastest service of 18 hours and 33 minutes, at a price of £9.05.
UK Mail came a close second with a cost of £9.59 and delivery time of 18 hours and 50 minutes.
But it seems not everyone did well.
The package sent with TNT arrived with the mug in pieces despite it being the most expensive service at £36.95 and a delivery time of 21 hours and 25 minutes.
DHL were the only firm who wouldn’t collect on Thursday and took three days, two hours and 19 minutes to deliver at a cost of £16.95.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Next week on that BBC1 programme about things people moan about (on Wednesday?) they are following a letter through the system from somewhere down south to........a Scottish island(just for a change).
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
Illegitimi non carborundum
