Status is still 'awaiting further information'

I had my interview beginning of November.
I was supposed to start on the 28th November, but my online status has been as 'Awaiting further information' and is yet to change.
I phoned Angard last week and was told to email, so I emailed and never recieved a reply.
I just assumed I hadn;t got the job, but someone I know working there saw my photo ID card, so I've emailed again, no reply. I phone again, and was on the phone for about 40 minutes, without getting through, then gave up.
I went up to the RM I'm meant to be working at, and spoke to them. They have got my ID card, but no records of me on the system or anything.
Been phoning ANgard ALL afternoon. Not able to get through on christmas extension, so decided to try a different extension. Got through after nearly an hour, and they transferred me to the right department. Hung up straight away.
Phoned back again, after half an hour someone else spoke to me, and they gave me the 01604629381 number; I phoned that one, and got through.
Apparently ANOTHER company deal with the 'vetting procedure' and it's nothing to do with them. I have no criminal record, and have never had a job before, so I see no reason why my security checks should be taking so long.

I'm finding this so frustrating!

What are everyone elses status on their RM applications and when were you due to start/have you had an emails etc

well at least you got to that mine still says interview booked!!! had that over 2 months ago

hi i applyied for a job with angard staffing got doc interview brought right documation i was was waiting on crb its now to 6weeks ive heared nothing tried emailing them and phoning the whole time no answer. i dunno what to do . i logged onto my appilcation its says its been with drawn when i niver withdrawn it .
