How secure is all my personal information?

Now I realise what a total shambles Angard are, I am horrified that I just handed over all of my most sensitive personal information to these incompetents at my original interview.
They have photocopies of my passport, my driving licence, letters with my national insurance number on, my address, my bank details, samples of my signature & even photographs of me.
To cap it all it looks like there isn't even going to be a job!
What guarantee is there that all of this paperwork is being kept safe & that it will be destroyed?
Someone has already mentioned how other peoples details were left lying around on tables during the interviews.
If Angards efficiency at the handling of the recruitment process is anything to go by, my identity is probably being flogged around the internet as I speak!

I asked this in the thread-did you get the phone call from Angard today? I have since started work, following a massive fuckup several weeks ago. However, I have since had a phone call from them asking me for my bank details again, because they have lost them!!! So that answered my question- What do they do with our info? I wasn't the only person who got that phone call either!
