Prime time coverage

Thursday 1 December

Gerry O’Rourke was this morning interviewed live on ITV’s Daybreak show from our packet hub in Peterborough about our Christmas operation to deliver online shopping.

Gerry, field operations director (South), highlighted the £15 million additional investment and contingencies in place to ensure we delivers cards, presents and online orders in good time for Christmas.

The feature also reported the scale of our operations to deliver the festive postbag of around two billion items and the increase in online shopping this year.

Information was also given on the latest recommended UK and international posting dates and the need for people to correctly wrap packets and parcels.

While we wait with bait on our breath, look up Liam Byrne MP. He's the Labour bloke to do with RM etc. Dropped him a line via his website and actually got a reply, which is more than Angard can manage.

Hi Loobyloo, I hope your campaign is making progress. Earlier today I was contacted by a Reed operative in West Sussex who was acting for Angard. And I mean "acting". They have offered me work in Canterbury and assured me that my name would be on the list(!). Ashley and Heather can be reached on 01903 229191. I'm getting quite alarmed by the reports of non-payment of wages. If they try that with me I will go after them. What a shambles. Good luck...

Liam Byrne ??? Remember him, a right smug, snide barsteward when in power with Liebour...

He was the one who famously left a note saying " Sorry, there is no money left" when they left office..

Funny thing is, he is still just as snide & smug, with his record he should still be hiding under a stone somewhere.
'Dear chief secretary, I'm afraid to tell you there's no money left,' ( Liam Byrne MP )
