grabe their hand off while you can - providing your managers fill in your timesheets correctly you should be fine to receive the correct pay! The actual job itself is fine and most people are really friendly and up for a laugh whilst getting on with it. So once you're in there it's fine!

Re: How to contact Angard
The waitlist means that you are on a waiting list. They will have filled all current available temp positions, if the workload demands more staff or if other people quit/get fired then they contact those on the waiting list. Sorry :/

Google a phone number for the mail centre/depot you're supposed to work at, they will have a list for starters they are expecting tomorrow and will advise you of when they'll get the list for sunday if you're not on for tomorrow :)kb7582 wrote:I got a call like I said yesterday saying start date is 2nd dec 2moro but today I got the email offer which sais my first shift is 4th dec tried emailing to aee what one. Re: How to contact Angard
thanks for the phone numbers on here, i eventually got through on the 01604 number (after emails were ignored) only to speak to a guy who after giving him my name and address and confirming it then said he needed confirmation of my name!!!WTF?Then we he realised how stupid he was behaving palmed me off to 02476234780.For security clearance i had to give my name, address and date of birth yet again then could proceed with the call. This is how crap they are, afterwards wanting to know why i had no job for me on 28th november , i was turned down because of security concerns.....they had no records of my date of birth, evn though over the phone when i gave my d.o.b they confirmed it.Not only that but it is on my application online as well as on the forms and further copies of 'id' that i took to the interview.
The people who are running Angard, and i use this term lightly, ought to be put on the dole and have those positions filled by people who are competent and desperate for work

Go onto the angard staffing website the address is there I know it's on derngate in Northamptonunpaid wrote:Bah, Humbug. What right have you to be merry in the Royal Mail at Christmas?
Does anyone have a postal address for Angard as I am raising a claim in the Small Claims Court? I am owed almost £1000 accrued over the last 6 weeks. I also have a journalist who is interested as it is an indication of how the 18,000 seasonal workers are going to fare, many of whom will have come off benefits.
