I'm just posting to join the legion being messed around by Angard. Having had my own business close down in the summer, myself on the financial precipice, and not a sniff of an interview elsewhere, I thought at least my Christmas was sorted. Pah! Angard...
On 17 October, I was given a start date of 7 November and a shift pattern, subject to security. Nothing since, except every time I call they say 'slight delay, start in about two weeks'. Today I was told probably around 12 December, until I started questioning them about what had been said at the recruitment interview. I've had all sorts of stories, denial, back-stepping, side-stepping. I feel an idiot for waiting so long and not just getting out there applying for other stuff, but they do give you the distinct impression you're hired when you're not.
I've written via the 'queries' email to ask them to clarify - but I don't expect anything from them. I note there is a Facebook page decrying how bad they are. It's new, but I hope it really gets some hits.
