Is this company for real?!?

I had a phone call/text & email of a job offer with start date for the 28/11/11 @ Birmingham mail office. Yesterday I turned up at 5.30am to be told at 6.30 that there was a mix up in dates and we was to come back tomorrow 29/11/11 to start.

So with my confirmed start date & contract I turned up this morning to be issued my security pass and Hi Viz jacket at 6am, at 7.45am I get told I'm not on the list to start work? I'm baffled as to why I would pass my security checks, get a txt/phone call and emailed a contract of employment only to be told They don't know who I am? What a shambles!

I turned down a night job at boots to take on this morning job at the royal mail! Absolute joke!

This happened to me i turned up at birmingham yesturday got told the wrong day and then recieved an email saying wait till we send you an assignment and contact you about induction so i never turned up this morning as i dont have the contract part and angard wont answer my emails

did many people get in today or was it just you who got turned away
