Erm.............not me. Don't understand it and not interested in the slightest. I do believe that this backless frame nonsense is a WCM initiative in disguise. I was under the impression that the CWU had stated that no new initiatives under the WCM cover should be entertained - or was that just someone not mincing words again.daveyeff wrote:can anyone explain what it actually is, and what its meant to achieve.

Well put Geezer or your Branch Sec (I think I know who it is and he is a quality guy).
I suppose we will never know if she actually gets to read it, unless someone keeps all of us updated on the matter, however having met the National Manager for WCM he is that far up his own backside its ridiculas, and will no doubt defend the use of sticky back plastic, cardboard cutouts and anything else he can get his hands on from a childrens play centre.

Go through the motions...they certainly are with you.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

"We have someone sorting broken elastic bands from usable ones that are swept up each day from the isles, then counting them and then putting them on a chart at the end of each isle, paid time to do this!! Sifting through rubbish bins to sort out paper, three types of rubbish bins now. It took 3 managers/staff from outside of the area plus a member of staff from the office the whole day yesterday to cut the number of bins being used by half and stick pictures on the remaining ones."

Surely, the only people who can call us world class, are our customers. Its no good Royal Mail pinning medals on its own chest,if our customers think we are giving a bad service. If our customers think we are crap, then thats what we are,no matter what a bisis Royal Mail award itself.

Managers....must love it !!! Going to the world class mails offices looking at the wonderful pictures on the walls...in the warm ,plenty of food and coffee laid on for them, over night stays in hotels in some cases before their momentous day ahead . All together in a room clapping and cheering at each other at their fantastic ideas !!! People looking through the bins sorting out the rubbish ,broken bands ...apples ..paper...general rubbish.....at the same time as postmen and women are claiming mountains of ext delivery o.t and plenty of posties breaking off and bringing the mail back to the office as their time is up !!! That mail is left in the frame until the next day !!! No effort is made to deliver the mail.....wilful delay i ask myself ....oh no not by OUR OFFICE MANAGER !!! Last year at xmas, royal mail were saved of total embarassment of their failing because of the snow falls, easy cop out !!! Not this year, members of my office are going to work till their time and bring the mail back. Wheres the goodwill royal mail will say ? Im sorry royal fail that went long ago ....shares not paid ,bullying, pensions being ripped apart and rounds that are totally unachevible and world class mail money that you might as well put in one of stupid elastic band bins !!!! Total and utter waste !!! I have worked for royal mail for over 30 years...and as frazier said in dads army " WE ARE DOOMED" !!!

A real classic only just behind-----
German commander after being captured, making a list of names to recall when they 'win the war'
After Pike starts singing Whistle while you work, Hitler is a twerp, he's half barmy, so is his army----
German points to him-'your name is going on the list',vot is it???
Captain mainwaring----'don't tell him Pike'!!!
Always be one step ahead, play their game but be wiser. Revenge is sweet.

This link might help a bit: http://knol.google.com/k/narayana-rao/w ... m2k7a/3138#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It's notoriously difficult to find specific information about WCM on the 'Net. But you can find bits an pieces, if you do a search on Hajime Yamashina.daveyeff wrote:can anyone explain what it actually is, and what its meant to achieve.
