I'm curious to know,just how much is the budget for the new HCN mail centre,the plant management must of been given an open cheque book,there's got to be at least 100-120 casuals over the three shifts every day,open docket for the Royal Mail workforce,add to that 20+ 7.5 tonners on hire

You wait to see what they have up their sleeves when the centre is fully open. They want to run the centre as an Ocado model which includes uniform inspections and vehicle inspections. Late attendance will be a conduct code issue and there are a few other bits I've been told of.

What I want to know is, why is the place so bloody hot? Late November, and people are putting fans on to keep cool! Heaven knows how much fuel it takes to heat up a vast space like that, but its carbon footprint must be the size of Wales!

Dunno about that, but there are quite a few female workers there that I wouldn't climb over to get to Anne Widdecombe!
