Gordon Brown speech at the TUC.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Honour amongst thieves?
Surely just a coincidence That RM trash the talks on the eve of Golden Browns TUC address how embarassing. Games within games?

What he said: “No loss of discipline,"
What he meant: "We're going to screw you working class bastards and if you don't like it - tough!"
What he said: "no resort to the easy options, no unaffordable promises,"
What he meant: "We'll find a few million quid for parasites like Leighton and Crozier because we must look after our own"
What he said: "no taking risks with inflation,"
What he meant: "Because fighting wars which have nothing to do with us for four years is always a sound investment."
What he said: "so let me be straightforward with you;"
What he meant: "I'm a politician! If I swallowed a nail I'd s**t it out as a corkscrew!"
What he said: "pay discipline is essential to prevent inflation,"
What he meant: "Unless it's for politicians, venture capitalists and other assorted scum with friends in high places."
What he said: "to maintain growth and create more jobs –"
What he meant: "The grown will be in the bosses bank accounts and the jobs will be short term and part-time."
What he said: "and so we will never return to the old boom and bust of the past.â€

IWW has it nailed on the head.....I would dearly loved the reps at the conference from all the public sector unions to have stood up and turned their backs on brown as a whole, as that is exactly what Labour has done with the working man and woman.
So it looks like a Autumn and Winter of discontent.
Well I hope this applies to the MP's who wna t a wage rise in November...what will it be this time 11% again or a bit more.he's adamant about the 2.5% pay rises for Public Sector workers.

what i hate is we, as workers, pay this prats wages, whats the betting that politicians get better than 2.5%, anyway 2.5% of there wages i would settle for, who voted for this pr..k anyway, he got in through the back door, stop ALL UNION FUNDS TO LABOUR, might get him to change his tune, hes a parasite living off the workers of this country and then telling us we dont deserve any pay rise.
ok im stopping now the bloods beginning to boil.
