Angard Sick Of Phone Calls ???

I couldn't imagine trying for that long makes me now think have no hope getting through if you have been trying since then. I just dont understand why cant even answer the phone but to keep getting hung up on is a disgrace, and if just gonna get told will call back is exactly what they told me yesterday and never did.

Yes mate, having the exact same issue and it looks like many others are too. Sometimes the phone does ring out but nobody ever answers it, it's a disgrace.

I have a provisional offer to start on 28th Nov, and security checks passed, but no confirmation and it's less than a week away.

in the same boat....When i called the lady advised me to sit and wait for the e-mail :S the same e-mail i've been waiting for the last month

My 'interview' (if you can call it that) was on the 11th Oct, where I got offered a provisional start dart of the 7th Nov if I passed their vetting procedure.
I have been constantly ringing the 01604 629381 - I have passed my vetting procedure - and I spoke to a William on the phone last Friday and he says they will recruiting for the 28th Nov. and I will get a call yesterday (Tues.) - but no cigar.
As the rest of you guys, I have been ringing them later yesterday and all of this morning but you've guessed it - again no cigar - engaged, engaged, engaged, put the phone down.
I've been waiting round now for 6 weeks. Basically, if Angard had said no, we're oversubscribed etc then I would have found another job.

But they've got you by the short and curlies - what if there is a job PO job out there somewhere??????

I ran my busuiness for ten years as a print agent, I packed it in through having a stoke and was voice was not good.
If I'd my company like Angard has, God help us, I would only latest a few days not 10 years.

Hi frustrated! Angard have totally messed everything for me. I go t a phone call from a direct number (always the same lady) she phoned me a week before I was to start and asked me whether I wanted to work lates or nights. First I said lates and finished the call. I rechecked my uni timetable and it clashed with 2 of my lessons. Within less than 2 minutes I phoned back and asked her to change it to nights instead and she said she could. So I was going to start my first shift on the 21st Nov at 10pm. I went there and got turned away! Because my name wasn't on the list and the lady at the post office refused me entry. I was so pissed at this point that I wasted money for nothing to get there. Ever since, I've been trying to phone the Christmas temp hotline to no avail. I called the lady who discussed my shifts and she was apologetic and gave me the Christ temp number. They're not even bloody picking up and yesterday the line was 'busy' all day! I did phone another number and she took my name and number and said someone will get back to me. It's angards right to dock things up...

i got turned away yesterday as my name wasn't on their list. been trying to get thought since yesterday, got through yesterday gave my details, and said to wait for a phonecall. still waiting!!

its a disgrace, to have confirmation e-mails, then to be turned away. signed back on job seekers today, as i doubt i'll be working at royal mail this xmas :( worked their last year, was great when royal mail HR organised it. didn't get paid properly 1 week, was sorted the very next day. it seems some people working for angard haven't even been paid yet after being there weeks.

also i signed of job seekers on monday thinking i would be starting on the tuesday at RM, had to do a rapid re-claim, but wont recieve any money for 2 weeks, what am i supposed to do till then!

angard are messing with peoples lives.

I just got of the phone with angard phoned them on the 01604 629 381 number and got threw in 5 mins. I told them that I had passed my security check and they said that they where now going threw all the people who have now passed there security checks and they said I should be told my shift next week.

i got through to them today but obviously when they gave me the correct number for payroll no one answered. and some days they just put the phone down when you finally get through.

the calls are now officially not being answered and instead we are being advised to email....... we have done so and still no reply!!

Still in the same boat. Supposed to start on 21st Nov. Now it's going to be a week and NO ONE has sorted out my wrong shift times. Just getting people telling me to phone here and phone there. I'm really annoyed right now! They clearly don't give a rats a** about anything...
