How to find a lawyer to sue Angard for outstanding payments?
I definitely do not have the money to pay for a lawyer on my own. But Payroll problems seem to be endemic in this "company".
Casuals at Nuneaton Mail Center have not been paid for 2 weeks. Some have left already. Some have been paid for only 4 days after having worked there for 5 days - a common "problem" it seems.
On the other hand, if the registered capital of this company is only GBP1, then you won't get more than that when Angard goes bancrupt. Then you can only sue the directors for defrauding.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: How to find a lawyer?
Hi
I am one of the people you describe.
I am fully prepared to submit a claim for Illegal Witholding of Wages to an Employment Tribunal as well as pursuing angard through the Small claims Court.
I have submitted the details of my claim for unpaid wages to angard by Email and they have at least acknowledged that they have received it.
I chased yesterday asking for an updte, so far no reply.
If I am not paid oin Friday everything that I am owed I will submit Form ET1 to the Employment Tribunal agency and visit the Court to lodge my claim.
I will also contact my MP, the MP for where the Centre is located, HMRC, HSE, RMG PRess Office and tell them all of the activities and law breaking by Angard on behalf of RMG.
Apart from being wholely owned by RMG, Angard are the contractor retained by RMG to supply the workforce for these activites.
As such RMG has a responsibility to ensure that Angard, as its contractor/supplier, abides by the law.
RMG can try but it cannot avoid these responsibities. It is their site not Angard's.
