My Son just heard from the Christmas team - profuse apologies for the 'co**-up' of last night etc.
He will deffo be starting NEXT Monday now - but only the night shifts left - still its a job for a few weeks. :)

When your son turned up last night, did he already have an email to confirm he was starting last night?

It appears that no one is having any luck getting in touch with Angard Xmas team at this hectic time. I tried calling them a zillion times this afternoon and it just rang out as the lines were busy. Hmm, should we take it as an incentive that they are busy getting down to the bottom of answering for there mishap?

I've phoned this 01604629381 number a few times today, and each time it rings for 5 mins then it sounds like someone is picking up and the line goes dead. Are they avoiding calls now?

I've been phoning all the numbers posted by other members, and they're either ringing off, or constantly engaged.

Security checks passed - but no text/email or phone call as yet...if ever...by the sounds of things...

i have had a text message saying it is getting close to start date at royal mail please remember that you need safety boots, then my security checks passed now just phoning the numbers of other members they just ring out!!

I can't get through neither.

Doubt I'll be attending tonight, have had to lance a few blisters on me feet and am struggling to walk. They have also cut our hours from 8 hours to 6.5

I spent hours yesterday phoning them, got through and someone took my name and number and promised that someone from the christmas team would call me back... have had no call back and have spent literally all day ringing them today and haven't been able to get through! so not trying to sound negative but you will be lucky to get a call back!

System is down. That explains a lot. Have they to told you when we should be able phone them again??

I've just received a phone call asking me to start at the Exeter Mail Centre tomorrow afternoon and all I need to take with me is some form of photo id - specifically told no need to take any other confirmation of hiring. So we'll wait and see whether I am expected and on the signing on sheet!
