ANGARD

Post by ssaresh »

To Whom it may Concern

I am writing to complain about the lack in communication from Angard Recruitment. We have no way of contacting you
except via E-Mail. I have tried calling 0845 4607361 (7318) 01604629381 01142414734 also went through the Royal Mail
Complaints number.

I feel let down by the process this year, I have worked for the Royal Mail over the past several years as an xmas casual.
Last year royal mail did not let me in direct but the agency did. My wife works for you for RM direct every year and this
year the process has changed.

I have been a loyal RM employee and always look forward to working over the festive period. I have friends and family who
work as Permanent staff there and feel let down as I don't know what is going on. I cant contact you direct.

I dont feel valued as a RM employee i am invited back each year for the service I have provided I did not get the shifts I have
done every year as all went in the first hour. Did not think that was fair to everybody to get this opportunity and not equal to
all. Nobody was told that it was first come first served basis.

I am now in a position without a Job for Xmas. I honestly feel like that me and my children are not going to have one as we
rely on the extra each year and have done so in the past 5 years.

I am also not happy that heard from a manager whom we see each year that the Mail Sorting office has taken on external agency
staff and have already started.

I think I would also like to voice my feelings and how I have been treated to the main head of the sorting office to let him/her
know how dissatisfied we are and how we have been treated. Its out of order and we will feel the weight this year through no fault
of our own. Please provide me the details.

Yours sincerely

Good points! RM/Angard seem to have overlooked many of us who have given service over the previous years and in my case throughout the year, as casuals. Its very galling to be sat at home with no work whilst someone just employed is working the shift you have been doing for months. I have said before on previous posts, YOU ARE A NOBODY they don't care, toe the line or quit, plenty more fish in the sea. Remember RM are "Inversters in People". :left:

I started last night, I've been unable to contact Angard, even though I tried to ring multiple numbers. I had a text message and email to confirm my shift along with around 60 others. Only 35 were on the list, 23 turned up whom were on the list. Everyone else was sent home. 40 unemployed people turned up and were sent home, I personally spent half my JSA on providing everything for the interview and attending, so I presume most of the others did too. + The cost of attending work. The supposed 8 hour shift is now a 6 and half hour shift, and there is a gap before public transport stops/starts.

I feel very sorry for those sent home, especially considering transport had stopped running (night shift). They have nothing and had paid to get there, they were left in a very bad position. Exploited!
