Hi

Post by fraz1776 »

Hello! I'm starting as a postie tomorrow, well the induction anyway, starting in the DO the day after, just wondering what I should wear when I start in the DO, I have tried searching but I can't find a whole lot on the topic.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Welcome mate.

If the forecast in your area is for rain or snow then unless you have waterproofs I would not wear jeans. They get very heavy and constricting when wet, and if your out for 3.5 hours minimum and possibly, though very unlikely, up to 6 hours you will tire very quickly.
