OFFICES WITH A WORKING REVISION

Were any revisions proposed,accepted and implemented without the knowledge of the relevant Area Delivery Rep?

If the answer is yes then if i were a divisional rep i would want to know why my Area Reps have no idea what is going on at D.O. level.

If the answer is no then if i were a divisional rep i would want to know why the deficiencies were not flagged up by the Area Rep to me.

Which HQ is that Postman, Royal Mail or CWU, maybe they could save a bit of cash and work from the same building as well as singing from the same hymn sheet.

We had a 45 min WTLL today about our imminent P&L revision where the dom said some offices are struggling with it but some have been successfull.When asked for some of the successes I was told Brighton and Hayward Heath.Would love some info on how it was achieved.

Would love to know as well as we maybe looking at starting again here once the issues have been resolved, i know that this time it is going to be worse as they have some other silly ideas to get a revision in,so if anyone from the two above areas would like to give us some insight maybe it could help us, bit like setting a (oh here it comes one of them worms)bench mark.

I haven't been on this forum for a a while. When I was last on, I was posting about the disastrous revision at the Barrow-in-Furness office. Since then a lot has happened. The biggest turning point was when our previous DOM got suspended and then sacked , he's been charged with the theft of mail and awaiting a court case. Since then the office has been on the up and working really well. The new DOM has introduced a new management culture and has invested more man hours into the office. The days of confrontation and management bullying seem over and the relationship between management and staff are as good as I've seen it.

I am so pleased that it is turning good for an office,it is a surprise when a manager that may have been less than best for an office is to go, so that new life and air can be bought into an office where there has been so much unhappiness.Keep letting us know how it goes,some of us have got to start again and are not looking forward to it,maybe because we will still have to argue that what they are doing is not going to be a good thing.
