Angard Sick Of Phone Calls ???

It would appear that the lovely people at Angard have got fed up with people ringing them !
I've rang them at least half a dozen times over the past month and whenever the phone has rang at their end someone has always answered.
I've tried ringing them this morning on every number that I have for them and they all ring out.

Is anyone else having the same problem ?

Yes Rang three numbers today. Two engaged numbers and other no answer.

Worked @ Belfast Royal Mail Last Year and was given days and Times at interview/assessment day for Sunday 5 December 2010 10pm -7am

I got a call from Belfast Office on Friday 26 November 2010 to start on Monday 6 December 2010 with inducation @ 9pm which was watching a DVD about Royal Mail then was told my hours will be 11pm to 7am.

But no word from ANGARD STAFFING AGENCY

Yes mate, having the exact same issue and it looks like many others are too. Sometimes the phone does ring out but nobody ever answers it, it's a disgrace.

I have a provisional offer to start on 28th Nov, and security checks passed, but no confirmation and it's less than a week away.

My experience has been slightly different, when calling 01604 629381 this afternoon, when not engaged it is answered then they immediately hang up. What a disgraceful way for the Royal Mail to handle its Christmas recruitment.

Same as you friend, got the provisional offer for 28th Nov at Canterbury, tried phoning all day - nothing as yet. When I did this 2006 and 2007 got a date to start a month before hand both times. Things have definitely gone to pot!

I rang and rang 01604 629381 until I got a man who answered the call.
He did not work for Angard so he asked for my Name and phone number and that someone will get back to me.

^ have either of you had a call back? I phoned yesterday afternoon and was also told I would be called back...but have heard nothing...been trying to get through to the 01604 629381 number for the past hour and a half!!!

I've been trying now for 3 hours to get through to Angard... twice they have picked up and then just put the phone back down again! I'm also due to start on 28th in Birmingham... will be contacting the newspapers and also getting advice from a solicitor if I don't hear back from Angard and then get turned away on Monday by royal mail.

No mate tried all day, just keep getting voice message or engaged tone. After reading some of the experiences from other posting I'm starting to feel a bit despondent. Supposed to be starting 28th at B'ham, not so sure now.
