It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

How's this then. We got the backless frames, they installed them, threw away the old frames, but then the area rep had a paddy as they totally screwed up the office layout. There's not enough room. Now for the absolute genius part, in order to get through Christmas without stacking mail on the roof, they're going to push the backless frames together, back to back. Oh, and the elastic cords at the back are just plain daft, you throw a flat in and it comes straight back out.

At the rate this company wastes money they could double our wages and not notice any difference, well maybe a few 'planners' would be out of a job, but then they could always come back as casuals.

At least then, the planners would be earning what they're actually worth. Minimum wage! :chuckle :chuckle

Our office this morning had a guy taken into the office because he was waiting 9 minutes for the porter to bring his mail to the frame, and at the same time another guy went to collect his own mail and was told he wasn`t allowed to go near the sorting and wait for the porter to bring it. :arrrghhh
