Re: READ THIS - Processing Security Checks / Passed Security
Hey,
Wondering if anybody can help me, as i have called RM and they had no idea what to do and who i should speak too, the bloke had given me some random persons mobile number
I have been to my interview and its been 2-3 weeks since! Although on my application form online it says 'AWAITING FURTHER INFOMATION' Does this mean they need more infomation from me or isit the security checks aswell?
As my friends application says 'Processing security check' Really confused. Also my introduction is next week and dont want to waste anymore time going through it all when I dont stand a chance
Please reply
Thanks
JJ

Re: READ THIS - Processing Security Checks / Passed Security
I've been checking my status on the royal mail website and it's been saying 'processing security checks' for nearly 2 weeks.
It's a bit of a joke really, there was so many people at the registration 'event' I'm starting to wonder how many people will actually be employed, I think they just get as many people as possible to register with no intention of employing all of them.
Aw well I guess that's the state of Britain today, people queuing up for jobs that don't even exist.
Maybe I'll get some news in the next week, I don't have my hopes up though.

That's after being hung up on no less than 3 times.![]()
My application status still says "Interview Booked" though. Apparently this is fine. We'll see.
What sort of notice is 1 week, terrible.
Did you ask them whether you're security checks were passed or not? If not I would call them back and actually get them to confirm whether it's being done or not.
lol if you think 1 week notice is terrible, I was with an agency once and they phone numerous times at 5am to ask if I was available to go in to work for 6am, fk that.

Mikey456 wrote:Right theres so many people coming on here daily asking the same question over and over. If it says PROCESSING SECURITY CHECKS then just wait until it says PASSED SECURITY CHECKS then give it a week if they don't contact you then ring them up on this number 01604 629 381.
I did this and i got a call back 4 hours later with the job offer.
So do this or read one of the other numerous topics that are the same as yours before you post. It clears the place up a little bit.

Re: READ THIS - Processing Security Checks / Passed Security
Oh dear what a mess.
I'm due to start on Monday night (according to the paperwork given to me at interview) -my status changed to "Security Checks Passed" early this week but nothing from
Angard yet-I'm sure they don't work Saturdays so I'll be bugging them on Monday morning. Emails don't get answered so very pleased to have found this site with phone numbers.

Re: READ THIS - Processing Security Checks / Passed Security
Hi Potts, you should try calling the West Sussex office on 01903 229 191. Ask for Heather or Ashley. Even if that is nowhere near you try it. Angard HQ is an office in Northampton where no one is answering the phone. In fact they're hiding under the table totting up the bonuses they have stolen from the chumps who work for them. The lot in West Sussex are Reed employees handling the Angard contract. That is con-tract. They called me a few days ago, the only contact I have had since the registration day. I suggest you try getting an assurance that you are on the list. If you're not you will be probably be sent home. Even if you do start , you won't get paid because...you're not on the list. No paperwork, no wages. Where is your contract? Where is your ID badge? Even if you are on the list and you do work there is no guarantee that Angard will pay you because the timesheets may have got lost. Or maybe some RM genius forgot to fill them in because he was tired. Who cares anyway, they're only "agency"....Good luck...
