No they didn't, so I rang them. I had passed my security check & was waiting to get the email/phone call to confirm my start date. Somebody had even phoned me last month to check the shift that I had chosen. Can't they read? So when I finally got through to somebody, I was told that I was "unsuccessfull". Well thanks Angard & Royal Mail! There is sweet FA around on the job front & this late, I wont get a fulltime job for Xmas! Thanks for f***ing up my Xmas  :vcfo

& another thing-What do they do with all the personal info we give them? They have a passport photo, copies of ALL personal details including bank account details. They should only be given when a job is accepted! DATA PROTECTION ? Do they securely destroy all this stuff???! How safe are our IDs ? :evil/mad

Your not the only 1 I am afraid 110,000 applied for 18,000 places that's a rejection rate of 83%

Sadly I think the odds may be a lot more stacked against the applicants then the figures indicate. I don't dispute for one moment the official figure for applications recieved, But from my experiance so far I now seriously doubt if all the 18,000 advertised places are all going to materialise. I now suspect many shifts/jobs/ at many locations were advertised in error and won't in reality be happening at those locations.

No TBT, I didn't bother. Their pc reply would be- "Of course we safely destroy all documents" Obviously, with an enept company like Angard, you can trust them to do this!!!!

This is all very well, but Angard know how many jobs there are. In the past, previous Xmas Casuals get an email asking them to apply for this year's work about a week before everybody else. There is always a list of selected people & a reserve list. This year EVERYBODY seems to have been offered a job! This year I made sure that I was the first person in the room at the registration event. I also applied for the flexi-casual job. I got a phone call about that job & after a 10 min call, was told that I had got the job! I was then asked to go to a registration event. I told them that I had already been to an Xmas casual event. So then I was told that I would start that job after Xmas. Since then, my RM page now says that my application for this job is uncessfull! Now I find that I don't even have the Xmas job! So much for ex-casuals getting priority! Angard are as useful as a foreskin on a Jewish prick!!! No offence to anybody Jewish!
