Anyone waiting for Southampton start date confirmation?

Hi All,

Attended Southampton mail centre on 19th Oct october for "Interview/assessment" re Christmas casual work. Was processed and sent to a room where I was allocated a sorting shift starting Tuesday 22/11 6am and given a "provisional offer letter" with said agreed shift details. Website still says "processing security checks" and have had no further word.

Anyone else received confirmation re Southampton start?

Hi, got ring tone no reply and then ring trip after 5 minutes 3 times! Finally got through - "still awaiting external vetting from Scotland, ring back Monday but RM won't let you on site if security not passed"

So, if it's not cleared I lose out awaiting a new start date - presumably possably losing my agreed allocated shift. Looks like a complete shambles to me.

Great that you got through. Been trying all morning and no-one will answer. Also supposed to be Southampton and also supposed to be 22nd 6 - 2pm. My security chacks
passes ages ago, but still no word. When I got through to them on Wednesday, they just told me to wait for a call, but I think I might be waiting forever.
