Hemel driver shifts

I have heard that there will be no duty pick and when Hemel and Stevenage drivers go in to the new Hemel they will go on the times they are on now and allocated a duty for that day or week. So in effect everyone will be a reserve. Not sure what Watford will be doing.

could not comment on the reps for HP and SG but im sure that Watford's deputy area rep is well looked after. He will have made sure that office is cherry picked dry.

As far as i know a resign will take place and involve mgv drivers from all three offices,it will come in to effect when Hemel & Stevenage mgv drivers migrate to Home Counties North in Febuary

my post does not say that.

as i continued it would come as no real shock or surprise if the contents of the first posting to this thread were true. This is based on my own experience and opinions.
i would hope that your own experience and opinion be different and possibly more favourable.

is this resign the one where you can only sign for the duty that attracts the same allowance you get now? i.e. if you are on a 1400-2200 you can only sign for that time?

You've got the idea......you could sign for an early or middle turn as that does not attract more allowance,but even if you have the seniority you cant sign for a night shift and knock a less senior person back on to a day shift as royal mail will have to pay night allowance to that person for 3 years as well as paying you night allowance.
