Contact Royal Mail?

Post by Muzzy52 »

I'm seeing people getting start dates however when they turn up for work, their name isn't listed?
It sounds ridiculous that this can actually happen an was just wondering if it's possible to confirm with RM whether you have the job before going?

I'm due to start on the 28th and hoping this doesn't happen to me..

Thanks.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

i have my start date ( 25th Nov ) this friday ! All it says on my status is "waiting for further information" ?? been waiting for a pass of angard via e-mail since my interview ( 30th Oct ) I've tried ring over four diffrent numbers all begining with "01604" and can not get throw to any of them. I worked at royal mail last year and it was no way this bad, ya went for ya interview and was told ya start date and that was it we all had a merry xmas. i worked 7 weeks for royal mail last year and loved it and will not be happy when i go down the sorting office on friday to start my shift and get told me names not down so ya not coming in like it has happend to so many other people .

Hopefully you'll be lucky. We've had some start at my office, although they have nothing good to say about Angard. They all seem to have the same sort of experiences as I've read about on here, except that they've actually started work.
