Did you really need someone from the WCM team to come in and tell you how to deliver specials? :nervous

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

:hmmmm Failing Special Deliveries is the fault of the duty spans and not the posties, if you have a number of Specials for the beginning, the middle and the end then it's very difficult to get them all done, but as I've said before, they want me to do them then I'll just be leaving things behind if I don't have the time.

"It was frustrating when we didn't know why we were failing..."
Is that a real comment?
Would someone honestly volunteer to look that stupid?

We achieve 99-100%.
We didn't need a WCM pillar to draw us a sketch.
We just deliver them before 1pm.
That usually works.

special deliveries are failing bcuz: (( these are ones i have seen))

1) it is common now --part-timers/reserves doing different walks. They dun have the idea (map on their mind) to manipulate the walk to deiver specials before 1pm.Only regular or posties who have done the walk for 2-3 weeks atleast, can think in their mind where to place the specials so that they can divert (walk short distance) and deliver the specials instead of waiting for the house to arrive according to the frame.

2) Lapsing and extras especially - u will go overtime anyway which makes it difficult to deliver specials by 1pm. Dom dun bother about specials when they give guys extras.

I wondered where all they Daily Sport writers had gone, they must all work for Royal Mail Courier. Not remembering where your specials are and being told how top cope with it, is Royal Mails equivalent of

Image

I mean any postie worth their salt knows after 2 weeks on the Job, either tell the locker you won't get there before 1pm, or break off from your delivery, and certainly most after a a few days know how to turn and "P"

It has to be a made up story, either to make us look stupid, or its someone hoping to look a bright spark. :no no
