That is a massive issue,, There was a yorkie found in Romford With ballot papers in it after the voting date in the WAYBACKWARD... So this time everybody and the cwu printers need to get there arses in gear and anyone not getting there papers should shout to the heavens IF they dont get there ballot papers with in time to return em!!zaphod wrote:With regards to the Way Forward ballot, of course it was a close result.
BUT, a sizeable number of posties at our Mail Centre, although CWU members, NEVER received their ballot papers, including me, and, hence NEVER got the chance to vote against it.
Or vote by proxy.. But the CWU need to show a bit of backbone and put up a strong front.... IF..... IF THE DEAL IS SHITE THEN LETS GEWT BUSY...
JUST SAY NO!!!

It is also down to your CWU Branch Organiser and Committee to ensure that your membership lists
are up to date with members' addresses, and that any address changes are notified to the CWU HQ
Organising Department - too many branches let this slip.

As has been said countless times in this thread, we vote on anything that is put to us. Stop abusing the Union and stop listening to every rumour that flies around your office. By tomorrow we will know for certain what the offer is, then we can discuss it in an informed manner rather than flying off the handle at hearsay and rumour.

Sorry i still can't do the cut and paste thing, but this article ends by saying both sides have
agreed to reach an agreement by Tuesday.

Hi im not abusing the union in my thread just stating facts of the past, i fully support the union in everything weve ever fought for but i remember the days of Keggie feathering his own nest ? I will say my union reps in Portsmouth are top people who are very dedicated to the cause and are solid when it comes to backing the union but you cant help listening to the rumours.
