must be a shortage (mcr area) of yorks as our office has been stripped of them and been replaced by something like this http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/46029 ... y.html?s=p" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
you would think there would be plenty since mail volumes are falling
For months the drivers have been leaving them sitting at my office because they're too busy to lift them but this week they're taking them all, even the ones we use for our packets in the morning

It's called York Repatriation.
A guy in a suit arrived at our D.O. and announced that he was the York Repatriation Manager....i nearly wet myself on the spot.
I've never even been to York.
The old Watford mail centre is getting prepared for its part in "operation xmas"deliveries and collections are the only people there now,collections move to the new mpu at the end of this month & deliveries go early 2012.ROMEC are stripping all the machines down now,a section of the operational yard has been cordened off for the trucks to take the old machines away,once ROMEC have finished which should be this weekend,it'll leave a huge area for the Amazon packet operation as well as the second class from surrounding area's.
