I've got my interview 2mrow for the xmas casual. Firstly, Can i use my passport as my proof for my right to work in the uk, aswell as identity. Or do i need to use a different proof. And instead of my original NI Card which i lost, can i use the HMRC letter which i got when i recieved my NI Card, which has the ni number on it. Please someone reply asap

Yup, your passport is fine for identity and right to work :) Is the HMRC letter printed? If any of it is hand-written I'm pretty sure they won't accept it, otherwise you're golden.

I recieved it with the NI card when i turned 16, it is printed, it also states my NI number. I've got a photocopy of my NI number (but i lost the card somehow). Take the above and anything else you can for good measure.I don't have a payslip. This will be my first kind of formal job, I have a letter from HMRC which came along with the NI Card , can i take that (its got the numebr on it ). I also photocopied my NI card before i lost it.

I'm pretty sure that if you have a UK passport and as such are a British Citizen that is proof enough that you have the right to work in the UK. I think the bit about items needed as "proof that you have the right to work in the UK" is only intended for for foreign nationals etc applying for this work? (Well thats my interpretation).
