Is it a weeks lying time? im sure it will be but just checking, and when do you sign off? after the first week or before? do you give them a p45 so you dont get taxed as much?

jj,, dont sighn off mate,, not untill you actualy start work,, then go to the jobcentre on your normal sighn on day then you can tell them you have a job.
i dont even have a p45 ffs,, so they can sort that out themselves.
as for wages,,, i was told its a weeks lie time bud.

cheers mate, im on carers allowance so i dont know how that will work.

doesnt handing them a p45 work out better? i thought this stopped you getting taxed until you earn more than 7g

yep,, it probably does m8,, if you have one,, take it with you,, they may,, or may not need it.

as for carers allowance,, id still wait till i actualy have the job,, you may go there and still get turned away,(as you know,this is angard staffing were dealing with ),if you do start then you can phone carers allowance and inform them.
