Just got my call they want me to start next monday 7th at a different centre than what i *interviewed* for! in another town! shocking service they provide! i turned them down as i hadnt got any childcare sorted for Monday my hubby works too and she said "oh well we wont be able to offer you anything else then" well FINE! you USELESS company! whatever! GRRRRr im fuming!

john, my application has changed from processing security checks, today it says security checks passed, how long roughly until they contact me? just hope its not tonight i have a wedding to go to 2moro lol, hope its next week though.

Hi everybody, first time poster...

having passed both interview and induction I was contacted by phone 2 weeks ago and told to attend my first shift today at 4pm-6pm at Doxford Park; on arrival today the receptionist told me that no xmas staff were working today and he had not expected my arrival. After contacting Angard in frustration I was told "we've taken your details and will get back to you." I am both confused and dissapointed, I thought I would be starting work today I have no idea what has happened and fear I now have no job for Christmas this year.

Fingers crossed they will get back to me but I am unsure. Utter shambles of an experience so far.

keep your hopes up sil,, i was also turned away and there was about 20/30 starting that day (last monday).. but they did phone me back with a start date again 14th nov,, but this time i recieved an email and text to my phone after the call. so im more confident this time ill get started. i know the waiting is bad, but not much else you can do m8.

i start on monday the 14th too john mate, cant open the contract though its coming up in arabic lol
