My average was about 16ph. Not enough according to management. Still at the end of the day it takes as long as it does. Something they dont seem to understand.

Don't forget multiple delivery in one house which will reduce number of houses. as some people get 3 or 4 packets a day.

How do they know how many packets a driver is delivering? Fairly sure they aren't counted at ours. Particularly those dumped on them by us for their second run.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

IWT doesn't do outdoor.
It only screws up the indoor.
Outdoor you basically pluck a figure out of the air and try to sound professional because no 20 packets will take the same time to deliver.
It's just a resourcing figure to give the lino something to put in his box to make it go green.
There's 100 packets so that's 5 hours OT....yeah whatever.
Then you book whatever it takes.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share
