Xmas Casual - Question

I've applied for a casual position about a month and half ago and my status page still says "APPLICATION RECIEVED". Do they tell you if you've been rejected or they do keep the status page like that?

Aplication recieved,, it will change during the proccess,, if you mannage to get an interview it will change to "security checks passed" all being well.
with personal experience already with angard staffing , dont hold your breath on all being well,, read some of the posts from others and you'l see what i mean.. good luck anyway m8.

So you're saying that unless I get an interview my status page will remain with 'APPLICATION RECEIVED' and they won't tell me if I got rejected?

I cant see it change unless you have a face to face interview,, they need proper ID's such as passport / driving licence with photo / birth certificate,, you will be asked to photo copy / print out and take all this stuff with you for the interview. you will also need passport photos so they can produce a ID pass for starting work.

Oh well, thanks anyway, I'd thought that after a month and a half since I did the online assessment that they'd tell me something.

[My partner did apply online for xmas casual and they email him to book for an interview (2 weeks ago) and went for interview last week to show his identification like driving licence proof of address birth certificate etc they will let him know whether he got the job or not!!!
