It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

told by managers that if you go out with mail and bring back this is classed as attemted delivery so office is clear, this mail is then taken next morning by one of the managers pets. surely this is wrong? anyone like to comment?

No it won't fly...it's still a failure.
For it to be an attempted delivery there has to be a reason the attempt failed.
What are they going to put down as the reason...20,000 inaccessible's :left:

Its been happening for months....my DOM classing it as part failure. Loads of people being moved about this morning to cover the duties that did'nt go out Saturday. We've casuals in and others from different offices. Compliance bloke still in. I'm going to kick off about LWT, loads suffering from lower back pain from pulling them, compliance bloke said 'you have to pull them, its just your muscles need to get use to it!'. I'm finding it a lot less painful pushing the trolley and will continue to do so, I and others are willing to sign a waiver to say that we won't put a claim in if we are injured pushing the LWT. A lot of us are going to go sick if we have to continue pulling them!
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

There is no way I'm going back to carrying a pouch, my knees & back can't cope anymore, especially as the mail is dropping off ;liar

It is a bit strange that the design of them is that they have to be pulled, judging by comments from those who use them,it's a bit of a massive boo boo.

Are we suprised? Answers on a postcard please,we need the revenue.
