Yet another really light day, rep thinks I'm being paranoid.........nah I'm being realistic its always the same when they do a 'count', the mail/packets always seem to dry up
No doubt will get hammered tomorrow when the Compliance Manager is'nt about, infact since he's been here I'm sure there is a fleet of arctics circling my office ready for him to go...........now thats paranoid

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

They were begging people to stay out and complete today.....everyone cut off.....no favours being done now, not our fault the revision is a complete f**k up, why should we bail these idiots out.tolkien wrote:i know what you mean, we had a visit from on high , all of a sudden loads of PT in early on OT to sort every so one off the IPS 1/2 hour earlier than usual , parcels hidden in vans , and we were all out on delivery 3/4 of an hour earlier, off course no one knew what was going on untill we got back by which time they had been and gone , so we could not prove any thing , although we were back to normal the next day , and well slaughtered with the mail and packects which had reappeared ,Stormproof wrote:Yet another really light day, rep thinks I'm being paranoid.........nah I'm being realistic its always the same when they do a 'count', the mail/packets always seem to dry upNo doubt will get hammered tomorrow when the Compliance Manager is'nt about, infact since he's been here I'm sure there is a fleet of arctics circling my office ready for him to go...........now thats paranoid

I am dreading the "HOUSE & GARDEN" editions entitled, Fridge Freezer a Garden Ornament, and Discarded Needles an addition to your Rockery.fishtank wrote:It's not a big seller on my delivery.RedBagMan wrote:"Good HouseKeeping" magazine has been a bit of a monster this week ...

Had to deliver post from November 1999 today. The guy had hoarded two bags in his locker. Thing is he was dismissed years ago for stuffing mail under a shed and no one thought to check his locker then?

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Bad - 8 specials and a teamtalk
Good - teamtalk was to announce that P&l cancelled. Instead small changes to hours for full-timers, no difference for part-timers. £600 pro-rata in next week's wage slip apparently
P&L cancelled as 100+vans leaving at the same time would be a H&S issue. Plus the car park can only hold about 50 and is impossible to expand. Am sure our management knew this from the start, but had to go through the whole planning rigmarole for a year. God knows how much it cost them?
