Welcome Scheebs :wave

My local office (not the one i work in) is having all sorts of problems with park and loop as i do not get a delivery till gone 5pm most days now. All i know is that if i need to mailorder any xmas presents i shall do so early in November to make sure they arrive. Its going to go very wrong this year with P&L offices.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

As long as they have 11 or 12 mates, full of late packets ... and seeminngly half a dozen walks that dont even go out,I would of that that in the managements eyes, that would suffice on a daily basis.

there was around 80 yorks of packets not delivered at our office(not a big office about 100 postmen) last year at christmas. now we are on p/l so you would imagine there will be more as most people now working to time

They are drafting in postmen from other parts of the county tomorrow to deliver large packets at my office. Sunday is the only day they seem to be getting any large packets done. I think 4 saddo's from my place put down for O/T tomorrow hence asking other areas. How much is all this costing to make it look like its working? we've had nights go back in after 3 years and about 20 people in for an hour or 2 on O/T before their duty starts. Yet we still have loads of cut off's every day and other walks not going out for 2 days.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Instead at solving the problem of bullying managers and hence people working their hours due to being totally pissed off, they would prefer to bung millions at a service that can never operate without the co-operation of a fully manned, satisfied, well paid, and well respected workforce. When o when will they learn.

That depends with what is wrong with him/her, if it is leprosy then they may bring along a bell and have to shout "Unclean " at customers who open the door or passers by ,but if it is Rabies then they will not be going out on delivery in the rain !!.

Don't know, seems reasonable to me :Very Happy but if your P&L partner is sick then nothing really changes, work to your time and anything else is the problem of management.

If your office has a spare body then they will partner you.
They might take someone off a HCT duty to assist you.
They might get someone from another office to partner you.
Worst case scenario - they might get a manager to partner you to protect the USO.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
