Re: Unable to book an interview
Hi Spuddy2 ,
I have been having the exact same problem with the same location. I have been constantly trying to book an interview slot for Lowestoft since 30th September with no joy. About a month back I visited Lowestoft Job Centre to see if they could help as I had no way of contacting Angard to explain the problem. The Job Centre told me they had no way of contacting Angard either and they had already had at least 30 people come in with the exact same problem.
I've since managed to contact Angard who insisted that interview slots had been originally put up for Lowestoft, and there was no problem with the system triggering book an interview slots but not triggering the slots (as many people suspect). Angard also explained that it's the slots becoming available that triggers the book an interview email and the moment new interview slots became available at this location it will trigger a new book an interview request email to everybody invited to book but so far unable to book through lack of slots.
Unfortunately the fact you have just had a book an interview email from the start of this week which was meant to have been triggered by interview slots for this location becoming available, yet I nor anyone I know received one on this date (as was meant to happen if the system is working correctly) Shows something is not right. I would also say the fact there were no slots available for this location (as usual) when you got to the page is further proof that the auto booking system for this location is not working properly? I've since revisited Lowestoft Job Centre to see if they new if anybody has since had any luck and they told me to their knowledge not a single person has managed to book an interview slot for this location.

Re: Unable to book an interview
Hey guys I just wanted to share my experience. The system seemed to be working fine for me, I was able to book for interview..with mon and tues available b'cuz i was waiting for my bank statement to arrive i booked my interview for tues at 3am so basically i was going to be the last person there. On Monday i went along with my mate just to see how the whole process went...its not actual interview anyone can turn up at any time! But you need the paper work before arriving. So on Tuesday morning 9am i was the first person there..they did not bother to check my interview time...lucky enough i got a offer and the place were filling up fast.
My advice to anyone whose waiting to book an interview is don't bother waiting!!! Find out where and when they are doing interviews...go into your account "print summary". I could send you the copy of the contract and other sheets you need to print and bring with you.

Re: Unable to book an interview
So how do you find out the dates and locations for the interviews then-if anyone can tell me the details for Croydon Mail Centre I'll follow your lead and just turn up.Luther101 wrote:Hey guys I just wanted to share my experience. Re: Unable to book an interview
Bunch of useless idiots! Just got hold of someone on the phone and she told me all the slots for Croydon have been and gone and that I'll have to wait for the next session but she can't tell me when or if there will be one! When I complained that I'm still getting the reminder emails saying I still haven't booked she said it's an error on the system and shouldn't be happening! That doesn't help me one bit. She took my details down and within five minutes the option to book the interview on my account page has disappeared and they've put me back to 'application received'. Looks like no RM work for me this year then.

Re: Unable to book an interview
I got an interview date when I first looked but was on holiday on that date. I spent hours tracing the person who had previously rung me on behalf of Angard and sent her an email via the Royal Mail York offices. I have no idea whether she received it because have had no reply. I still get both texts and emails telling me to book an interview but now always get 'No slots available'. They are either playing a numbers game or their system is inadequate or down right useless.
