Neither do I PM, they're just part of the workload so just do them and if it's going to take you over your time then cut off/leave behind/claim OT, it's really not difficult.

Sorry said this before and going to say it again, that document you have linked to is NOT an approved CWU document, at no point has the cwu agreed to it, if anyone has proof that it has then please post a link to the LTB which states it was, that document was a briefing document made up by an area manager for his area and was then diseminated around other areas, it states agreed with cwu in the document but he could have typed anything in there but still doesn't make it true

they mysteriously disappear,only for the same ones to appear on a different duty in another week........

Your manager should print out for you a list of the D2D for the week ahead.
It tells you the number of contracts, the contract number, the weight etc.
If it ain't on the list, it shouldn't be at your frame.

what is your complaint peedofpostie? is it that the union rep is making sure the job is done correct, which in turn saves jobs?, or is it that you like to finish early which in turn loses jobs? sounds like a great rep to me

No...but the fact that it's the only D2D guidance produced by either side,has been in circulation for 18 months and has never been challenged by the CWU would kind of lead you to believe that they don't have any major problems with it.
I know they can be slow to react but not that slow.
The document itself as a piece of guidance is fine.
It's the fact that managers and members completely ignore it that's the major problem.

no its that people who are outa touch telling me to prep door2doors into a double slot frame first before any mail just sounds mad and make life hellava awkward and also that maybe a lot of people will stand up for themselves but some dont and thats where the union should be helping not siding with bosses and telling me to work my hours when they are sitting having tea with the boss while i am still out delivering (when it suits that them is )

peedof the way you are supposed to prep d2d was devised by RM so if it takes longer then so be it, but if you want to suggest a quicker way then i am sure your manager would be delighted, then you could take more lapsing with the time you saved as for your rep drinking tea while you deliver if you want to do the job then put your name forward i`m sure with your time saving ideas you and the manager will soon be drinking tea together

so what excatly is the union here for then if rm tell us to do things are the union
just doing all as they say AGAIN as for doing union job would nt want it they are all on same side now anyway as for me doing things quicker and doing more lapsing well if you read my quotes i said makes it easier not just quicker is that not what we all want an easier job to do not everyone wants a hardlife ,all i was asking is it the way everyones to do it now is it so hard a question
