I think it will be some kind of park and loop system to start with but i dont think they will bother working on the walks very much. Long term i see bags of mail simply being dropped at partime workers private house's and then going out in thier cars to deliver it.
As for managers i actually believe that full time posties will be in a much stronger posistion as we know the IPS, prep and walks much better and will be of greater use. I would imagine they will have thier own management structure on lower wages which will be introduced quite quickly.
As far as incentives to accept changes we might get something at the start to stop people leaving but after that a new way of working will be pushed upon us and we will have to accept it or ship out.
I dont believe it will be a happy time.
Although i may get my mail before 5pm.
