My impression as well Elvis. Spoke to an old postie today who asked what the ID cards were all about. I pointed out...Cycle Helmet...Hi-Vis.....ID Badge ....Issued Footwear! No-one's going to get me out the door on a technicality! :no no When the IB boys check me out all is in order! :wink:

As a Reserve I get sick of hearing the Regular say." Don't forget tomorrow when you're on my Duty you can leave parcels for So and So at Number...etc..etc...". I just say OK......Totally ignore them and 739 everything! :Very Happy

Next day they complain I'm upsetting "Their Customers"...and "It save you Time and you haven't got to take any packets back". I then point out I'm not on job and Finish, like they are, and I'm quite happy to fill in 739s until the cows come home(or the Posties) :dance If they don't like it Tough Shite!

It's a real problem getting the public to understand the rules on this.
How many times a day do you knock on a door and a neighbour comes out saying 'they're at work, i'l take it in for them'.
I always say no, sorry it's not allowed and 739 it. One area i deliver to in some council flats, a bloke has a note taped to the front door stating that any parcels should be left with his neighbour, i still 739 them. Then you cover yourself.
