No mate,to be honest you get more/longer breaks during pressure,as there are so many casuals and work about for the inept managers to keep track of,that you can "get lost" quite easily.Obviously,i'm not one of these people, but it does happen! :angel :nervous
same as it ever was...

None!!

Used to top up with SA and O/T when I was part time, but since getting full time contract 6 years ago I have not done a single hour of overtime. I leave that to the greedy buggers who don't have a life......

I was referring to the "greedy buggers" implication. Some people don't have a choice and have to do o/t, doesn't mean they are greedy, just means they are trying to survive.

Personally I don't have a family to support or a mortgage yet so no o/t for me! :nana

Choice? No offense buts that's bull! There's a guy in my office with a mortgage and 4 kids. Going by your opinion you think he should see his kids starve or be made homeless to just to make a point?! :Sick

It's not a question of taking sides it's a question of doing what he needs to do for his main priority, his family!

These people are not greedy, they're not working so they can buy a villa in spain or spend every night in the pub ffs! :speak to the hand

Probably loads, but not seven days a week, as I did two years ago. I'll keep Sunday free. Probably 4 hours a day, Mon-Sat.

I too have a mortgage and kids to support. Living on a tight budget and prioritising to get the basics right is what enables me to give my family the most precious and important thing there is - my time.

I take it i'm a greedy bugger and don't have a life then.Son,there are reasons for doing overtime.Myself included,in fact i hate it with a passion, however as i have kids, mortgage and of course my wife who has lost her job through serious illness leaves me with no option otherwise.
As for a life.Well i make sure the kids can go fishing with me,twa-kon-do clasess',hill walking, football and others.Myself just watching of course.Maybe not alife but one thing for sure, its a life i will look back and cherish when i'm older.End of :wave
